NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (THANE ROAD LINK ROAD, NOTTINGHAM) (PROHIBITIONS OF WAITING) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2018 (TMP 7215A) NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (THANE ROAD LINK ROAD, NOTTINGHAM) (20 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2018 (TMSP 1030A) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Nottingham City Council on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make Orders under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 84(1) (2) (3) (5) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), and by the virtue of Section 74 of the Traffic Management Act 2004 (“the 2004 Act”) as amended and all other enabling powers, in respect of roads in the Borough of Broxtowe, Nottinghamshire County being a Civil Enforcement Area (CEA). 1. The effects of the Order (TMP 7215A) will be to introduce certain restrictions/prohibitions and/or provisions specified in Schedule 1 (below) in part or parts of the following roads: - Humber Road South, Lilac Grove and Thane Road Schedule 1 (a) To introduce Prohibitions of Waiting at Any Time (Double Yellow Lines). (b) To amend/revoke certain existing restrictions as required to enable the above. 2. The effects of the Order (TMSP 1030A) will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit in part or parts of the following roads: - Humber Road South, Lilac Grove and Thane Road Certain exemptions will be provided. Copies of the Order and map may be inspected between the hours of 9.30 am and 4.00 pm - Monday to Friday either at the Local Studies Library, Central Library, 1st Floor, Angel Row, Nottingham or at Loxley House, Station Street, Nottingham by appointment made by telephoning 0115 8765430. Written objections (stating grounds and quoting ref.: TMP7215A) must be received by me by the 10th day of October 2018. The prohibitions are intended to ensure the free flow of traffic, promote safer vehicle speeds and to discourage obstructive commuter parking.
