BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED) SECTION 14(1) BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL (MILL LANE, NORTHFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) (No.T18191201) ORDER 2018 NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from driving along Mill Lane between its junction with Quarry Lane and its junction with Station Road. The temporary Order is required to allow for brickwork repairs to the bridge to be carried out in safety. An alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via South Road, Bristol Road South, Longbridge Lane, Turves Green and Coleys Lane. Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary. These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. The Order will come into operation on Monday 16th July 2018 and will remain in force for a period of 4 weeks or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
