Notice in effect from 13 March 2018 until 20 March 2018

OLDHAM BOROUGH COUNCIL THE OLDHAM - OLDHAM WAY TEMPORARY ORDER 2018 (Middleton Road Bridge works) The Oldham Borough Council intend to make a Temporary Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the Oldham Way slip road from A627 Oldham Way to Manchester Street roundabout and to prohibit vehicles making a right turn from Middleton Road on the slip into Middleton Road and to remove the dual carriageway status along Oldham Way (A627/A62) extending from Featherstall Road roundabout to Prince Street and introduce dual carriageway status on Oldham Way (A627/A62) extending from Featherstall Road roundabout for 350 metres southerly and also on the carriageway extending above Manchester Street roundabout to Prince Street. The alternative route will be via A627 Oldham Way/A62 Oldham Way/Bottom O'th Moor/Cross Street/Lees Road/Oldham Way. The Order is to be made for the refurbishment of Middleton Road Bridge and will be in force for a maximum period of 18 months from 20th March 2018, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
