NOTICE THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL (X4040) Station Road West, Ash Vale TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING LOADING AND UNLOADING ORDER 2017 ON 19TH APRIL 2017 SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL MADE the above mentioned Temporary Prohibition of Waiting Order in exercise of their powers contained in section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting by vehicles at any time on both sides of the road in that length of (X4040) Station Road West, Ash Vale, from its junction with Lysons Avenue for a distance of 32 metres in a southerly direction. The Temporary Order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public. This will come into operation on 24th April 2017 for a period of 18 months. The temporary prohibition of waiting will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Exemptions are provided in respect of the temporary waiting restrictions to permit vehicles to wait in order to pick up and set down passengers, to load and unload goods, to carry out essential services and works or when used by local authorities in pursuance of statutory powers or duties and for furniture removals. (N.B. Disabled persons displaying a disabled blue badge will not be exempt from the temporary waiting restriction).The usual Exemptions apply for Post Office vehicles when delivering or collecting postal packets, vehicles when waiting because they are required by law to stop, are obliged to stop in order to prevent an accident or are prevented from proceeding because of circumstances outside the drivers control and in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or of a civil enforcement officer will apply when the temporary waiting restriction is in force. (A30) LONDON ROAD, EGHAM/VIRGINIA WATER TEMPORARY 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT ORDER 2017 ON 19TH APRIL 2017 SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL MADE the above mentioned Temporary Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is to impose a temporary speed limit of 40 miles per hour on that length of (A30) London Road, Egham/Virginia Water, from a point 130 metres north east of its junction with Christchurch Road to a point 10m north east of its junction with St Davids Drive, a distance of 1830 metres. The Order comes into effect on the 24th April 2017 for a period of three months and is required because of Mayer Brown Ltd carrying out works on the road. It is anticipated that this work will be completed within two days. It is anticipated that this temporary Order will remain in place at all times during this work. The Order will only be operative while the relevant signs are displayed. HIGH BARN ROAD (D268) AND RANMORE COMMON ROAD (C44), EFFINGHAM TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2017 ON 19TH APRIL 2017 SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL MADE the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to: a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of High Barn Road (D268), Effingham that extends from its junction with the access road to “Friars Elm” southwards to its junction with Ranmore Common Road (C44); b) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Ranmore Common Road (C44), Wotton that extends from its junction with High Barn Road (D268) eastwards, to its junction with Hogden Lane (D269); and c) suspend “THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL HIGH BARN ROAD (D268), EFFINGHAM TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2016”. The Order is required to enable cabling works on behalf of British Telecom. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 within three days of the three month period of operation of the Temporary Order, which commences on 24th April 2017. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure and suspension will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians, cyclists, equestrians, emergency services, residents and businesses will be maintained at all times. For part a) vehicular traffic will be diverted via High Barn Road, Hogden Road and Ranmore Common Road; and for part b) vehicular traffic will be diverted via Ranmore Common Road, Westcott Road, Guildford Road and White Down Lane. VARIOUS ROADS IN EGHAM TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER (NO.1) 2017 ON 19TH APRIL 2017 SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL MADE the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of: a) Vicarage Road (B388), Egham that is crossed by the level crossing and for a distance of 10 metres either side; b) Station Road (C10), Egham that is crossed by the level crossing and for a distance of 10 metres either side; and c) Thorpe Road (B3376) and Thorpe Lea Road (B3376), Egham that is crossed by the level crossing and for a distance of 10 metres either side. The Temporary Order is required to enable an examination/maintenance works at these level crossings on behalf of Network Rail. These works are anticipated to be carried out within seven nights of the six-month period of operation of the Order, which commences on 22nd April 2017. Access for pedestrians and emergency services will be maintained at all times, cyclists and equestrians will be required to dismount and follow the pedestrian walkway. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained via the diversion routes described below, the closures will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed and the affected roads will be reopened outside of working hours. Advanced warning signs will be displayed. For part a) works are to be carried out in two phases which are anticipated to be: from 23:30 on 22nd April 2017 to 02.30 on 24th April 2017, and from 01:00 on 30th April to 05:00 on 1st May 2017. Vehicular traffic will be diverted via Vicarage Road, High Street, The Avenue, The Glanty, The Causeway, Thorpe Road, Thorpe Lea Road and Vicarage Road. For part b) works are anticipated to be carried out within one night from 23:30 on 24th April 2017 to 05:30 on 25th April 2017. Vehicular traffic will be diverted via Station Road, Church Road, High Street, Vicarage Road, New Wickham Lane, Stroude Road, Manorcrofts Road and Station Road. For part c) works are anticipated to be carried out within one night from 23:30 on 15th May 2017 to 05:30 on 16th May 2017. Vehicular traffic will be diverted via Thorpe Road, The Causeway, The Avenue, Vicarage Road and Thorpe Lea Road. GADBRIDGE LANE (D276), EWHURST TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2017 ON 19TH APRIL 2017 SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL MADE the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to: a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Gadbridge Lane (D276), Ewhurst that extends from the northern property boundary of “Chipchase” to the southern property boundary of “Gadbridge Farm Cottage”. b) suspend “THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL GADBRIDGE LANE (D276), EWHURST TEMPORARY PROHIBITION TRAFFIC ORDER 2016”. This Order is required to enable sewer repair works on behalf of Thames Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 on weekdays and 08:00 and 13:00 on Saturdays within two weeks of the six-month period of operation of this Order that commences on 24th April 2017. Advanced warning signs will be displayed. The temporary closure which is anticipated will be required for 24 hours each day and the temporary suspension will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Due to the nature of the excavations required, it will not be possible to maintain any access through this temporary closure however no access to any property will be affected. All traffic, including pedestrians, cyclists and emergency services will be diverted via Gadbridge Lane, Horsham Lane, Cranleigh Road and Gadbridge Lane. (T1001) CHURCH WALK, CHERTSEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL TRAFFIC ON TOWNPATH) ORDER 2017 ON 19TH APRIL 2017 SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL MADE the above mentioned Temporary Order, under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit all pedestrians, or any person proceeding by any other means, from entering or proceeding along that length of townpath along Church Walk, Chertsey, between its junction with Abbey Green and the southern boundary of property number 5 Church Walk, a distance of 38 metres. The Temporary Traffic Order is required to enable McNicholas to carry out ducting works on behalf of Virgin Media. This will come into operation for three days between the hours of 08.00hrs – 17.00hrs within the duration of the three month Order which comes into effect on the 24th April 2017. The prohibition will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. No sole means of access to any premises will be affected. The alternative route will be via Abbey Green, Colonel’s Lane and Windsor Street. (D3092) ALEXANDRA ROAD, ADDLESTONE TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2017 ON 19TH APRIL 2017 SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL MADE the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic from entering or proceeding along the entire length of (D3092) Alexandra Road, Addlestone. This Order is required to enable MTS Cleaning Ltd to gain access to manholes and de-scale the sewer pipe. This work is anticipated to take place over two nights between the hours of 20.00hrs and 06.00hrs within the three-month period of operation of this Order that commences on 24th April 2017. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary measures will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access will be maintained for pedestrians, equestrians, cyclists, residents and emergency vehicles at all times. As Alexandra Road, Addlestone, is a no through road, no diversion is available for this temporary road closure. (B3012) GOLE ROAD, PIRBRIGHT TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2017 ON 19TH APRIL 2017 SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL MADE the above mentioned Temporary Order “this Order” under Section 14(1) of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of (B3012) Gole Road, Pirbright as extends from its junction with (B3405) Stanley Hill to its junction with (A324) Dawney Hill. The alternative route for traffic will be via Stanley Hill, Grange Road, School Lane and Dawney Hill or this route in reverse order. This Order is required to facilitate Surrey County Council to carry out major highway maintenance and/or resurfacing works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 07.00 and 17.00, as soon as possible within the eighteen month period of operation of this Order which commences on 28th April 2017. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access will be maintained for pedestrians, emergency vehicles, residents and businesses at all times. Access for Buses will be affected. Access for HGVs will be maintained via the signed diversion route. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. (C23) CHALK ROAD, GODALMING TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2017 ON 19TH APRIL 2017 SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL MADE the above mentioned Temporary Order “this Order” under Section 14(1) of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of (C23) Chalk Road, Godalming as extends from its junction (D5403) Borough Road to its junction with (A3100) Bridge Road. Westbound vehicular traffic will be diverted via Bridge Road, Wharf Street, Flambard Way, Station Road, Church Street and Borough Road; eastbound vehicular traffic will be diverted via Borough Road, Church Street, High Street (Godalming), Flambard Way, Wharf Street and Bridge Road. This Order is required to facilitate Surrey County Council to carry out major highway maintenance and/or resurfacing works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 07.00 and 17.00, as soon as possible within the eighteen month period of operation of this Order which commences on 28th April 2017. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access will be maintained for pedestrians, emergency vehicles, residents and businesses at all times. Access for Buses will be affected. Access for HGVs will be maintained via the signed diversion route.
